I was unfortunately a little jaundice since I was 4 weeks early so my mommy and daddy put me in the sunlight. This helps to draw out the yellow pigment in my skin that makes me so tired. I can't wait to go to the beach in Florida soon, my parents have already said we are going!!

Hello everyone!

I think I have my mommy's eyes and lips but I have my daddy's nose and ears!

She's here!

Nothing like getting back to the blog after 3 months! Baby Lia is here and doing awesome, she weighed 6 lbs. 11 oz. and was 19.5 inches long. She came into this world at 7:41 PM on Monday April 27th 2009 after her wonderful mother was in labor for 21 hours. So far everything has been perfect and baby and mom are doing well! Sleep has been in short order of course but besides that there isn't much to report. All the animals have done wonderful and our dog Dempsey has welcomed Lia with open arms, he is very protective and really doesn't let her out of his site. Our two cats are pretty cool with it so far, but I think they are still wondering when she is going to leave. Oh well, things are wonderful and the whole experience was very surreal, hope to post more soon!

The First Post

Julie and I just stole this idea from some friends but we thought it was an awesome idea to keep everyone posted on little Lia and of course her wonderful mother. We are about 24 weeks into this 40 week adventure and it has definitely had its up and downs, but we are so excited and can't wait for May 25. We will try to post pictures and more stuff later or when we actually have some to post! Also we have started to work diligently on the upstairs to get ready for her arrival, we have cleaned and removed lots of stuff to create more room. The time is flying by and we know she will be here before we know it. That's all for now.
